Responsible packaging
Review unnecessary plastic, recyclable options and right-sized packing, then verify improvements.

Beautiful interiors can begin with more thoughtful choices—from selecting well and making to fit, to using products for longer and finding a better next life for what we no longer need.
Discover our approach ↓At KKBS CURTAIN, we are reviewing how materials are selected, products are made, orders are packed and unwanted curtains are handled. Our approach is practical: understand where change is possible, test it carefully and communicate progress honestly.
Five areas guiding our next steps—not claims that every goal is already complete.
Review unnecessary plastic, recyclable options and right-sized packing, then verify improvements.
Develop a take-back route with clear rules and responsible reuse or material-recovery pathways.
Record offcuts and explore sampling, reuse, donation or recycling where practical.
Help customers choose for their needs and follow product-specific care guidance.
Use confirmed measurements for custom orders and review processes for avoidable waste.

Our Curtain Recycling Programme is now open for registration. Send us the details of your unwanted curtains and our team will assess them for a suitable reuse or material-recovery route.

Eligible registrations receive the appropriate return instructions.
Accepted items are assessed for a suitable reuse or material-recovery path.
Registration is open for unwanted household curtain panels. Every submission is subject to KKBS assessment based on item type, condition, quantity, location and the available handling route. Do not courier or bring items to KKBS before receiving written return instructions. Wet, mouldy, contaminated or unsafe items may be declined. Registration does not guarantee acceptance, collection, payment, discount or reward. Where a suitable route is unavailable, KKBS may decline the items. Final return arrangements will be communicated directly to eligible participants.
Less plastic
Review unnecessary single-use parts.
Recyclable options
Assess locally suitable materials.
Right-sized
Reduce avoidable empty space.
Packaging has two jobs: protect the product and avoid unnecessary material. KKBS is reviewing every layer—from the outer parcel to internal wrapping—to understand what can be reduced, replaced or more appropriately sized without risking damage in transit.
Reuse packaging where possible. Separate clean paper or cardboard from plastic components and follow your local council or recycling provider's instructions.
Explore how purpose, fit and care shape a more considered fabric choice.
Choose the performance the room needs instead of selecting by appearance alone. The right level of light control and upkeep can help avoid an unsuitable purchase.
For custom orders, use accurate dimensions so each curtain is produced for its intended window and hanging style.
Follow the care instructions for the specific product and ask KKBS before trying an unfamiliar cleaning method.
Composition and certifications vary. Recycled-content or certified-material claims should appear only when supported by supplier documentation.
Material note: Not every fabric has the same composition, performance or certification. Please refer to its product information or ask our team.
ExploreOffcuts vary by size, fibre and condition. Credible action begins by recording materials, then identifying reuse or recovery routes that genuinely suit them.

Verified figures can be added once scope, method and reporting period are defined.

Longevity starts with a product suited to the room and fitted correctly. Gentle use and the right care can help it remain useful for longer.
Sustainability is ongoing work. We continue to review materials, packaging, operations and recycling initiatives for practical ways to reduce waste and make better choices.
We will share targets and results when supported by a clear method and verified data.
